Brigitte Fabi, CMKBD is a long-time kitchen and bath design practitioner. Prior to joining Drury Design, Brigitte co-owned a design firm specializing in work with builders and architects. Brigitte has over fifteen years of experience in the kitchen and bath/interior design industry and has won numerous awards for her work, including a first-place design for the NKBA Design Vision Awards in 2007. And, most recently received two honors at the 2013 NKBA Design Competition for Best Before and After Bath and a 3rd place award in the large kitchen category.
“From the time I was very young, I’ve always been drawn to art and architecture. As I developed this interest, I saw the perfect opportunity to combine the two in the field of cabinetry design. Form and function, theme and variation, are my starting points for every home. Combining exterior aesthetics with interior elements and client tastes creates a unique space each and every time.”
Brigitte was recently bestowed with two 2013 National Kitchen and Bath Association design awards. The first was for an Arts and Crafts kitchen remodel in a Chicago loft inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh won third place in the large kitchen design category. The award-winning kitchen design is featured here on our blog. The second design award was for a luxurious natural spa was awarded The Best Before and After Bath featured in this post on our blog as well.
