Glen Ellyn Historical Society Benefit Concert, August 8th, at 7:00 P.M

The Folk Unlimited Orchestra features San Francisco based Claudia Russell and includes guitarist/mandolinist Bruce Kaplan and bassist Mark Petrella. A gifted vocalist with a sweet, smoky voice, Claudia Russel weaves together folk, blues, western swing, country and rock music. This is an opportunity to see and hear an award-winning folk group while supporting the Glen Ellyn Historical Society.
Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio is proud to share that our designer, Terry Kenney is donating her time to help design a handicap accessible kitchen for Homes for Our Troops (HFOT). This nonprofit is dedicated to building specially designed homes adapted to the needs of our injured veterans.
This year’s Spring 2010 Design Guide is now available online and we hope you check it out. In this newsletter you will find features about four award-winning client projects including Tina Muller’s beautiful kitchen design that was commissioned after the owners arrived home after vacation and found severe water leak damage.

Drury Design Honored at 2008 / 2009 Sub-Zero Wolf Kitchen Design Contest With Award

Drury Design congratulates Tina Muller on winning an award at the 2008 /2009 Sub-Zero Kitchen Design Contest {KDC] award for her entry in the traditional kitchen category. Tina, a Glen Ellyn resident, joined Drury Design Studio in 2001 and is the recipient of numerous recent National Kitchen and Bath Association [NKBA] design awards.
We just received a dealer announcement from Sub-Zero and Wolf that they will be offering an exciting consumer promotion starting on March 1st, 2010 that will save you at least $1,000 and up to $2,500 on your Dream Kitchen!
Following up with an article we published on our website in October, we wanted to go into more detail about the three winning Drury Design kitchen design projects (by three different designers) recognized for excellence at the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Design Visions awards ceremony held in September 2009. We’re very proud of their work and want to share their amazing accomplishments with you.

Drury Design Wins 5 Design Vision Awards for Projects in Burr Ridge, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, La Grange and Lisle

Five Drury Design projects recently received 2009 NKBA [National Kitchen and Bath Association] Design Vision Awards and two received honorable mentions. Gail Drury, CMKBD took first place honors in the large kitchen category for a major kitchen renovation for a Hinsdale client featuring white furniture-styled cabinetry mixed with antique glass doors, carrara marble counters, reclaimed barn wood ceiling and vintage white oak flooring.

Our Fall 09 Design Guide is now available on line…our eighth bi-annual effort. In this newsletter you will find features about two recent client projects; a beautiful whole home renovation we completed this past spring in Evanston and a lovely spa / master bath in Naperville for two very terrific clients.
According to the U.S. EPA, concentrations of many Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) are consistently higher indoors (up to ten times higher) than outdoors. Formaldehyde is considered to be a VOC by the EPA.
