Outdoor kitchens are not spaces that we ordinarily design and provide for our clients. But after meeting with Mitch Slater, owner of Danver Stainless Steel Cabinetry located in Wallingford Connecticut, and an expert in outdoor kitchens, at a recent kitchen business conference we attended in Dallas, we were left wondering, not why, but rather…why not.

Drury Design Wins 5 Design Vision Awards for Projects in Burr Ridge, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, La Grange and Lisle

Five Drury Design projects recently received 2009 NKBA [National Kitchen and Bath Association] Design Vision Awards and two received honorable mentions. Gail Drury, CMKBD took first place honors in the large kitchen category for a major kitchen renovation for a Hinsdale client featuring white furniture-styled cabinetry mixed with antique glass doors, carrara marble counters, reclaimed barn wood ceiling and vintage white oak flooring.
