9/17/09 Update:
It was a beautiful day on Labor Day and the event had a great turnout – over 450 runners! The race generated over $8,000 in net profits which all goes to the St. Petronille Youth Ministry in support of their goodwill efforts around the country. We were proud to support this years event and the efforts of the St. Pet’s Youth Ministry.
Here are some snapshots from the race:

St.Pet’s will be hosting the 10th Annual 5K Race on Monday September 7th Labor Day weekend. All proceeds will be used to support the good works of the St. Petronille Youth Ministry.
The race begins and ends at St. Pet’s 1 block west of Main St. in Glen Ellyn just south of the Metra tracks in the heart of town. The race commences at 8am. The start/finish line is located on the north side of the campus.
This group of young people perform various acts of service in our communities and around the country. The Harvest Day Food Drive, fund-raising to fight Aids in Africa, mission trips to Appalachia and the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana are some examples of how their acts of goodwill help the needy locally and beyond. This year the kids will travel again to Mississippi and Alabama to help with the lingering effects of Katrina. Feel free to make an additional donation to our Youth Ministry as you complete your registration.
