During Alicia’s time designing custom homes, she worked closely with her clients to design their cabinet layouts, intricate tile designs, and selected everything from the interior/exterior materials and finishes, to custom lighting and fixtures. Along with Alicia’s Interior Architecture degree from Columbia College, her experience with custom homes has made her appreciate every space of the home but her favorite rooms are kitchens and baths.

Alicia started at Drury Design more than 15 years ago and has won multiple awards, including NKBA Most Dramatic Makeover, Best Before & After Professional Design Award, and Third Place Professional Design Award Large Kitchen.

“I believe that the most important part of the design process is at the beginning,” she says. “That is when you form a relationship with your client and learn what is most important to them. Once that is established, everything else falls into place. My goal is to design a space that not only meets my client’s vision but exceeds it.”

Drury Design’s team is what makes each project a success, according to Alicia. “We all work together to make sure the job goes smoothly and that each client is satisfied with the outcome.”
