Laurel earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design from Harrington College of Design, graduating with honors. She also attended the University of Iowa where she studied art education.

Previously a design associate at the Interior Design Group, ltd. in Glen Ellyn, Laurel created space plans, designed and oversaw the creationof construction documents and implementation of commercial build-outs for clients in the Chicago area. After transitioning from commercial to residential design, Laurel says, “Designing kitchens is a fascinating process. With all the materials and options we have here at Drury Design, each project is truly an individual experience.”
