At Drury Design, we have been offering a client-focused design approach for more than twenty five years. From the beginning, we view our clients as partners. After discussing and analyzing our client's ideas and goals, we explore those ideas, and then present a range of options to fulfill client-inspired design solutions. Our clients then select from exquisite custom cabinetry, appliances, surface materials, fixtures and cabinetry hardware from our studio's extensive selection.

From our client's visions come completed projects that are continually recognized as some of the finest examples of Chicago residential interior design. Our clients’ projects come to life under the direction of our design staff and installation professionals.

History

Gail Drury, a pioneering mompreneur, founded Drury Design in 1987. Building on a decade of kitchen & bath design sales success, Gail’s budding business quickly grew out of its home base into a more spacious Glen Ellyn storefront design studio. Gail holds the National Kitchen and Bath Industry’s highest designation, Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer or CMKBD.

In 2001, Gail’s husband, Jim Drury, joined the company after a successful career in national television ad sales and management. Jim managed the transition and renovation of the former Cottington’s Furniture building, located at 512 North Main Street, into the 7,500 square foot studio. Today the studio is a nationally recognized home and kitchen design center with over 1,500 completed projects; hundreds of client references, dozens of design awards; and a multitude of regional and national press accolades.
