2010 Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk To Benefit Bridge Communities a Success
The 2010 Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk raised over $13,000 in ticket sales and silent auction items to benefit Bridge Communities.
Congratulations go out to Baird & Warner of Glen Ellyn & Wheaton for their effort on this year’s Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk. It was a resounding success. A hearty thanks also go out to the participating homeowners who availed their homes for their incredible generousity, volunteers, sponsors and those who helped put this together! A special thanks goes out to Mitch Williams for all of his effort and for the terrific photos.
After a hiatus in 2009, the 2010 Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk raised over $13,000 in ticket sales and silent auction items to benefit Bridge Communities, which is ‘a dynamic, grassroots, non-profit organization committed to transforming the lives of homeless families through partnering with talented, resourceful individuals and groups in our community. Our program of housing, mentoring and empowering families focuses on moving them towards a goal of self sufficiency.”

Presenting sponsor, Drury Design, and The SubZero / Wolf showroom in Glendale Heights, hosted the “After Walk” reception at our Glen Ellyn studio from 5 – 8pm. Refreshments and food were served to over 200 attendees throughout the evening. The lively group included Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk tour attendees, some of the featured kitchens’ homeowners, and many of the Baird & Warner’s volunteers as well as Drury Design’s staff.
