Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio’s twenty-five-year success is built on Gail Drury’s belief that kitchen design is a client-driven process. Each client/designer relationship is supported by a team; giving the designer the freedom to focus on the client’s individual custom kitchen or bath design.

2012 marks Drury Design’s twenty-fifth anniversary. Entering its eleventh year at 512 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn, IL, the showroom is one of the largest independent family-owned kitchen and bath studios in the Midwest. With 25 room vignettes, including two NKBA award-winning displays, the studio’s two levels encompass 7,500 square feet.

In 1994, Gail Drury expanded her home studio, founded in 1987, to a storefront location on Pennsylvania Avenue. In 2001, Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio opened in the former Cottington’s furniture store, a downtown Glen Ellyn landmark since 1946.

Client-Focused Kitchen Design and Bath Design

In 2002, Gail talked about the studio’s move from its prior Glen Ellyn location at 534 Pennsylvania Avenue, ‘Although our business was growing, the real reason for our expansion was to enlarge our palette and to offer our clients an outstanding visual design experience. Our goal is to present real life possibilities. Photographs demonstrate in one dimension. Touching counters, opening drawers and sitting at counters gives our clients the opportunity to test drive several real kitchens before they bring one home.’

‘To mark our 25th anniversary, we have an exciting new full-size kitchen display being installed in our studio that will be unveiled at our 25th Anniversary open house on Friday, May 18th’, says Gail Drury president of Drury Design. ‘The theme of the new kitchen display is ‘A Transitional Kitchen for The Modern Family’ that captures the growing trends of transitional styling and modern conveniences in kitchen design.’
