To meet the increased kitchen and home remodeling demand in the Chicago area, Drury Design welcomes four new members to its professional design team. In the home remodeling industry, there’s more good news on the horizon.

Spending Growth for Home Improvements to Accelerate

According to the Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity (LIRA) released in July 2015 by the Remodeling Futures Program at the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University, the extended easing of gains in residential improvement investment is expected to change course by early next year, The LIRA projects annual spending growth for home improvements will accelerate to 4.0% by the first quarter of 2016. 

Three New Assistant Designers Join the Drury Design Team

Basia Kozub, Assistant Designer

Basia’s knowledge and skills in space planning and hand drafting play a vital role in the early design stages. A Harrington College of Design graduate, Basia’s experience includes working at Porcelanosa in the Merchandise Mart.

Beata Bartoszewicz, Assistant Designer

While earning her degree in Interior Architecture from Columbia College, Beata was employed as a designer for a custom woodworking company creating both the cabinet designs for clients and cabinet shop drawings for manufacturing.

Bailey Pinsky, Assistant Designer

As a design student at The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg, Bailey interned at Drury Design. Now a grad and an assistant designer, Bailey’s skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Revit translate ideas into designs.

Gail Drury founded Drury Design in 1987 building on a decade of kitchen & bath design, training and sales success. Gail’s budding business quickly grew out of its home base into a more spacious Glen Ellyn storefront design studio opened in 1992, and later moved to it’s current, larger Glen Ellyn location at 512 N. Main Street. Gail holds the National Kitchen and Bath Industry’s highest designation, Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer or CMKBD.

Today the studio is a nationally recognized home and kitchen design center with over 2,000 completed projects, hundreds of client references, dozens of design awards, and a multitude of regional and national press accolades and employs a team of seventeen.
