Before & Afters
“Diana did an amazing job working with us to plan our dream kitchen. She listened carefully to our preferences and incorporated those into several options at different price tiers. There was zero pressure to “go big” and she let us lead without letting her own aesthetic dominate. We couldn’t have been happier with how the project ended up. We would recommend Diana and Drury to anyone we know in a heartbeat!”

Hinsdale “Toy Kitchen” Reimagined
These client’s of Diana loved their neighborhood and home, but the kitchen did not work for their lifestyle. The existing kitchen was closed off from the rest of the main level, and there were only a few tiny cabinets. The homeowner called it a “toy” kitchen!
A low bay window and a second unnecessary door to the backyard limited options for reworking the layout. Diana approached this by replacing the window with a new unit that would offer a great spot for a new farm sink. Eliminating the unused back door enabled her to locate a large new pantry and fridge in its place. Connecting the kitchen to the dining room was also a priority for the homeowners. Now, a wide new cased opening makes the dining area and kitchen flow beautifully.
The palette for the new kitchen features fresh white perimeter cabinets, with a contrasting dark stained island, open shelves, and custom hood.
Diana’s design won Second Place- Medium Kitchen at the 2018 Chicago NKBA Awards.

Beauty and the Bath, Clarendon Hills, IL
Featured on the front cover of West Suburban Living as well as adorning a two page inside spread is Diana Burton’s remarkable master bath remodel.
The homeowners were seeking a major renovation from their original master bath. The young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor, particularly their master bath which was cramped and overpowered by a Jacuzzi-style tub.
After multiple design meetings spent choosing the right hardware and materials, everything was set, and the transformation began! Drury designer, Diana Burton, began by borrowing some space from the bedroom this way they were able to reconfigure the whole layout, which made a big difference to the homeowner. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.
The neutral tile colors and natural wood tones contribute to the spa-like sense of zen the homeowner was striving for. That sense was achieved and the homeowner could not be happier, “I feel like I’m on vacation every time I step into my bath.”
