Third ASID Interior Design Excellence Award Goes to Drury Design and Ginny Blasco Design
Drury Design of Glen Ellyn and Ginny Blasco Design of Chicago recently won an ASID award for a spectacular kitchen remodel in Winnetka, Illinois. The early twentieth century home’s kitchen remodel breathed new life into the entire first floor.
This project is the team’s third ASID award—in 2014, a multi-cook kitchen remodel in Burr Ridge and a reimagined rec room in Glen Ellyn each won ASID Illinois Excellence Awards.
Gail Drury, CMKBD remarked, “Because we are competing against some of the top interior designers in the country, winning the ASID award is an important achievement. We are honored to be considered as part of this esteemed group of interior designers.”
Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Housewalk Features an Award-Winning Drury Design
Winner of both the 2010 National Kitchen & Bath Association “Art of the Industry” National Design Competition and the 2008-2009 Sub-Zero Wolf Kitchen Design Competition, this classic white kitchen will be featured in the 32nd Annual Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Housewalk on May 6. A crisp white color palette spotlights architectural details such as arched valances, crown molding and corbels in this suburban Chicago kitchen. Key elements of the space include Calcutta marble countertops, a farmhouse sink and oversized island.
