Lauren Feurich Named to NKBA 30 Under 30

We’re thrilled to share good news — Senior Designer Lauren Feurich has been selected for the NKBA 30 Under 30 Class of 2026, a national nod to young pros shaping the future of kitchen and bath design. The recognition fits Lauren’s arc — steady, earned, and client-focused — and we couldn’t be prouder!

Why this honor fits

  • Real momentum – Lauren’s rise from intern to senior designer happened in under four years, powered by curiosity, discipline, and follow-through.

  • Early leadership – She’s led assistant designers, independently managed key vendor categories for Drury Design, and built trust across teams and with clients.

  • Proven delivery – 2025 has already been a breakthrough year, with 10 projects completed before fall — a tangible marker of both pace and quality.

How Lauren works

Clients often start with a vibe or a handful of ideas. Lauren’s gift is turning that into a clear plan — design, scope, budget, and timeline — while keeping the process collaborative and forward-moving. She’s put in the reps on the hard parts, especially early budgeting: studying past projects, pricing trends, and material differences so conversations stay transparent and confidence-building. Recently, she’s been energized by the renewed use of natural stone — timeless, organic, and right at home in elevated residential work.

What stands out most is Lauren’s pace of growth — and the path that shaped it. She trained closely with two kitchen and bath design gurus who have been recognized by the industry as true Innovators,  Gladys Schanstra and Gail Drury, and spent years as a key assistant designer on dozens of projects led by Drury Design senior designers. She also learned under our most recent 30 Under 30 honoree, Emily Kreber (Tomek), who now leads City Design (our design/build firm in West Des Moines). Lauren’s own work is now drawing attention across Chicagoland — warm-meets-modern palettes, smarter storage, cleaner lines, and spaces that feel composed and livable on day one. That same agility shows up in the client experience too — organized, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable.

Lauren, congratulations on a well-deserved honor. Your talent, work ethic, and care for clients reflect the best of Drury Design — and we’re excited for what’s next.
