Recently featured on Grothouse Lumber’s website was a Drury Design kitchen design in Hinsdale, Illinois. This 1905 home’s kitchen was definitely not built for a modern kitchen, but with lots of floor plan revisions, and some heavy muscle. Janice Teague and her team transformed this once-cramped kitchen into a space perfect for gatherings.

This countertop is a 1-1/2″ thick Edge Grain Wenge Kitchen Island Countertop with a Standard Ogee on top horizontal edges, 1/8″ Roundover on bottom horizontal edges and vertical corners and a Durata® Waterproof Permanent Finish in Satin sheen. Designed by Janice Teague, CKD/CBD, of Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio.
