Do you do more than just kitchens and bathrooms?

Ask Us Anything

Dear Drury Design,

Do you do more than just kitchens and baths? I’m interested in remodeling some other areas of my home one day.

Sincerely,

Lily from Oak Brook

This week’s answer is provided by Senior Designer Diana Burton. Diana has been with Drury Design for 10 years. (Her anniversary is in February!)

Hi Lily,

 YES!

Drury can help remodel any area of your home or even your entire home.

In addition to kitchens and baths, we often help our customers design and build home offices, family rooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, basements, bars, wine cellars, closets, pantries, fireplace areas… you name it. We’ve even designed an indoor spa! Outdoor kitchens are a new addition to our services that we’re particularly enthusiastic about offering. Many of our projects involve remodeling an existing space but we also work with builders on new construction jobs.

This is a good time to let you and others know about two related service areas we’ve offered in the past and are looking to expand: interior design and commercial design.

We’ve worked with interior designers for years – they are experts when it comes to finding the right furniture, rugs, window treatments, etc. to work in concert with the features of the new spaces we design and build for our clients. We now have that have expertise in house. In addition to being a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, new owner Gladys Schanstra is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. As you may know, Gladys started her career here at Drury Design before launching her own firm and then returning.

Over the years, our team has designed and installed commercial build outs in office buildings, a car dealership, a barbershop and more. In fact, I have a restaurant project underway right now. Most of our previous commercial projects have come from clients who got to know us through residential design work. Our approach (collaborative design, full-service installation, committed schedules, etc.) is ideal for the commercial realm. We’re looking forward to doing more of this kind of work in the future.

Thanks for your question – we hope this helps. We’d be more than happy to help you with any follow-up questions about your future projects!

Sincerely,

Diana Burton
